Bible Reading Week 3 - Day 1
No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.

wad if we think in our hearts? is it less bad?
...The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. - 1 Sam 16:7
Although taken slightly out of context (this was when Samuel was in the process of selecting a new King - which eventually was to be King David)I think the point is clear that God sees into our hearts and know our thoughts and intentions too, be it good or bad. So I think it is equally bad.
